Bill Monson

Bill Monson is a third generation farmer in the Yakima and Columbia Valley regions of Eastern Washington.  He is the President of Goose Ridge Vineyards and Monson Ranches.  At Goose Ridge Vineyards, the operation produces many different varietals of wine grapes, apples, cherries as well as hay. The Monson Ranches division raises cattle, which he feeds as stocker cattle in states from the West coast to as far as the Midwest.

Bill is a 1988 WSU Business Agricultural graduate.  He’s been involved in many leadership roles with The Cattle Feeders Association locally and nationally.  Bill served a two-year term as representative for the National Young Cattlemen’s Assn. in Washington D.C., President of Washington State Cattle Feeders Assn., member of the Washington State Horticulture Assn. and a member of the Washington Assn. of Wine Grape Growers. He brings many years of farming experience and knowledge with an agricultural background. 

Bill is married to Darci. They have three children, Taylor, Blake and Makenzie, whom are all very involved in agriculture. His interests include hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and golfing.
